Frequently Asked Questions

The Milk Peel is the perfect “lunchtime peel” — a 10-minute treatment with no downtime, suitable for all skin types and all phototypes (I–VI). It is an ideal first peel for patients new to chemical exfoliation, delivering immediate radiance and smoother skin.

Crystal Peel is classified as a Class IIa medical device under EU regulations, meaning it meets the highest safety and efficacy standards. Its proprietary three-acid formula targets stubborn pigmentation including melasma and solar lentigines with a structured pre- and post-treatment protocol.

The Cosmo Peel range offers progressive TCA concentrations (12%, 15%, 18%, 20%) for different skin needs and depths of treatment. Lower concentrations address mild concerns with less downtime, while higher concentrations target deep wrinkles, stubborn pigmentation, and acne scars. The practitioner selects the appropriate concentration based on your skin type and goals.

Downtime varies by peel type. Milk Peel and Mask Peel have no social downtime — you can return to your activities immediately. Mela Peel Forte and Crystal Peel involve moderate peeling for several days. Cosmo Peel requires 3–7 days depending on concentration, and Cosmo Peel Forte may require up to 10 days of recovery.

For pigmentation concerns, Mela Peel Forte is recommended for moderate pigmentation and melasma, while Crystal Peel is the medical-grade option for more stubborn or severe cases including solar lentigines and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate option based on severity.

Cosmo Peel 12% and 15% are generally safe for most phototypes. However, Cosmo Peel 18% and 20% are limited to phototypes I–III (lighter skin tones) due to the higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin. For patients with darker skin, the Milk Peel or Crystal Peel may be more suitable alternatives.
